Privacy Policy
Phrase Core is designed to help rewrite messages while keeping local modes local by default. This policy explains what is processed and what is stored.
Local modes
Fast and Medium modes run on your device. Text processed in these modes is not sent to Supabase, OpenAI, or the Smart cloud backend.
Smart mode
Smart mode uses cloud AI. When you intentionally select Smart and run a rewrite or reply action, the selected text is sent to the backend and to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI processes Smart requests to generate the result.
What Supabase stores
Phrase Core does not store raw rewritten text in Supabase. Supabase may store anonymous app/backend identifiers, entitlement status, quota counters, and usage metadata such as action, input/output character counts, provider, success/error code, and timestamps.
Subscriptions
Apple handles subscriptions and payment processing. Phrase Core receives subscription status information needed to unlock Smart and manage quota.
